Magna Voce

Magna Voce, LLC was founded in 2010 by two interpreters who, not unlike most interpreters in the U.S., went through the growing pains of acquiring their knowledge of the profession through a multitude of workshops of limited duration and scope. As colleagues, they shared their experiences as interpreters and educators and agreed there was a need for a more comprehensive and scholarly approach to the development of a competent professional interpreter.
Our classes are a balanced combination of theoretical principles and guided and reflective practice. Our teaching focuses on linguistic competence, well-developed interpreting skills and the humanistic and ethical considerations present in everyday work.

"Well, what a wonderful experience had with the two of you. ... Trophy! ...I know you both worked very hard to produce this workshop. The quality of attention to detail clearly showed. This was a ‘class act’ from the get go.  I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kind willingness in providing this workshop."
